Shirley Liu
Program Assistant, Harvard China Fund
Zhijia (Shirley) Liu serves as the Program Assistant at Harvard China Fund. She provides strategical and operational support to the Fund’s student programs and grants while also contributing to other initiatives the Fund oversees.
Other than English, Shirley speaks Mandarin and Japanese. She was born in Hangzhou, raised in Beijing, and relocated to Boston in summer 2015. She graduated from Swarthmore College in 2022 with a B.A. in Japanese and Biology. Before joining Harvard China Fund, Shirley was active in the education landscape, serving as an educational consultant, event coordinator, teaching assistant, and tutor at various institutes.
