Maggie Zong helps to develop strategic priorities and represents the Harvard China Fund to internal and external constituencies. She cultivates interest among Harvard faculty and facilitates the student internship, language and service programs.
Before joining the Harvard China Fund, Maggie served as Assistant Director of Global Markets, Executive Education at Harvard Business School, where she managed the Senior Executive Program for China, the Global CEO Program for China, and the Global Colloquium on Participant-centered Learning. Prior to HBS, Maggie spent five years at Brown University as Assistant Director in the Office of International Student and Scholar Services. She also worked as Assistant to the Dean at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, helping launch the first executive education program for Chinese planners. In addition to her 20 years’ experience working for academic institutions, Maggie had a business career working for Chinese, American, and Hong Kong companies in China, including CNOOC, CAAC, and Occidental Petroleum Company.
Maggie appreciates arts, music and culinary arts. In her free time, she cooks for her friends and practices Chinese calligraphy. Maggie is willing to entertain proposals to give Chinese cooking lessons.
